What size do I need?
Boxing gloves are measured in ounces. The 8 and 10oz gloves are ideal for professional bouts or bag/pad work. The 12oz gloves are also good for bag/pad work. The extra weight in a 12oz glove will help to build stamina and punching power. Whilst the 14 and 16oz are designed for free sparring

What is the difference between Top King “Air”, “Ultimate” and “Professional” Boxing Gloves?
The main difference between the Top King “Air” boxing gloves and the “Ultimate” and “Professional” boxing gloves is the neoprene palm. The neoprene palm incorporates an internal clima cool technology that helps to dry the gloves out faster, which means that the gloves should not suffer as badly from glove smell when compared to non-neoprene palm gloves. In addition the “Air” boxing gloves use a full wrap around leather wrist enclosure as opposed to the “Professional” version, which uses an elasticated leather wrist enclosure.

How do I take care of my gloves?
After ever session you should make sure that you air and dry your gloves out. This is important because your gloves are made from leather and any perspiration that has gotten on to the gloves is acidic and will begin to break the leather down.

What else should I consider?
Apart from taking into consideration the training environment in which you are going to use the gloves you should also consider hand wraps. Hand wraps help to provide additional hand and wrist protection when wearing gloves.
